About Soroptimist International of Azusa/Glendora
Soroptimist International of the Americas is divided into geographic regions and districts to better serve the organization's worldwide membership. Chartered in May 1956, SI Azusa/Glendora is part of SI Desert Coast Region, District 1.

SI Azusa/Glendora is represented by women from the medical, political, educational, insurance, financial, non-profit, and travel professions. Also represented are women who have chosen to become involved as "individual" members.

SI Azusa/Glendora provides support to education and scholastic endeavors. The club helps support teachers in both Azusa and Glendora Unified School Districts with educational grants through the "Yearn to Learn" educational program. Acknowledging and applauding students for their continued efforts on their scholastic improvements are highlighted in the club's annual luncheon with the "Personal Growth" Award Appreciation Ceremony.

In addition to education, domestic violence, women's health issues, and community outreach are also major focus areas of the club. Many of the programs and services can be reviewed by going to the Programs web page and/or the Supporting Services page.

In collaboration with Soroptimist International and SI Desert Coast Region, SI Azusa/Glendora continues to work endlessly in striving for human rights for all people. If you would like to make a difference for people through volunteer community service work, then you're only a click away from being a part of a Mission that our organization has worked over eighty years upholding.
